When should you play Christmas Music?

Okay... It is getting close to that time of year when people start arguing about when it is appropriate to start playing Christmas Music. Personally I think November 1st. Christmas music just puts everyone in a good mood! It needs to have at least 2 months of air time. Some might say that it takes away from Thanksgiving. I disagree! Nothing can take away from Thanksgiving. The anticipation of turkey and dressing and pumpkin pie. Not even a song can take away from that!

Fall

Fall has finally arrived! I have been anticipating it's arrival! It is now time to break out the sweaters, turtlenecks and coats. And that means that Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner! This is my favorite time of year. People seem to be in good moods. And Starbucks has their pumpkin spice lattes. Yum!!!!

Little Ginger

About a month ago our dog Ginger stopped walking.  The vet said she had a ruptured disk and was paralyzed in her back legs.  It was devastating to us.  We were given several options.  We chose to have the vet keep Ginger there for several days on high doses of steroids.  And we were told we would have to make a decision after 5 days.  My husband and I prayed and fasted.   On the Tuesday before we were supposed to make a decision we still had no clear answer.  My mom called and told me to look at www.dodgerslist.com.   It is Dachshund Orthopedic Disk Group.  We read that there were many options for Ginger.  So we knew our answer.  On Wednesday night we took Ginger home.  We are crating her for 6-8 weeks.  We have to express her bladder several times a day.  It has been difficult at times and have had a lot of sleepless nights.  But God gave Ginger to us to love and protect.  She has now been crated for 4 weeks and has begun to wag her tail again and seems to have regain some feeling in her left side as she can stand up in her crate for brief moments.  Wow!   What progress!  God is so good!  I think Ginger is probably the most prayed over dog.  And it shows.  Thank you Lord!
