When should you play Christmas Music?

Okay... It is getting close to that time of year when people start arguing about when it is appropriate to start playing Christmas Music. Personally I think November 1st. Christmas music just puts everyone in a good mood! It needs to have at least 2 months of air time. Some might say that it takes away from Thanksgiving. I disagree! Nothing can take away from Thanksgiving. The anticipation of turkey and dressing and pumpkin pie. Not even a song can take away from that!

No way! Christmas music is for one thing, Christmas time. If you start Christmas music before Thanksgiving day then you are cutting into the Thanksgiving holiday. Sure, there are no Thanksgiving songs, but please, for the love of the Pilgrims, no Christmas music until Black Friday...

I say "nay" too. Can't play Christmas music until they start playing it on the radio. Just in case there is some weird station you have ready as an example - talking about the statistical average of radio stations here.

I say Christmas music should start on December 9th. My fingers are crossed for Reagan Noel to be born on that same day... so her name will change to resemble mine! :-0
